The Cotton Queens visit The National Coal Mining Museum, Wakefield (9/9/23)

After doing research on pit brow lasses, the Cotton Queens had a trip to the National Coal Mining Museum to experience for themselves what it is like to be underground in a coal mine.  They were treated to an underground tour by an ex miner and also learned more about women in mining.
